A downloadable game
One hit, certain kill. Single hit based fighting game for the Playdate, focusing on simple mechanics, timing and footwork.
Gameplay
Take one of three stances (high, mid, or low) and attack your enemy to strike him down in one hit. Predict your enemy stance and use the appropiate block to evade your enemies attacks. An attack from a specific stance can only be blocked by the same block stance, e.g. an attack from the low stance must be blocked by a low-block.

Explanation
- Bold (e.g. B): Hold button
- Plus (B + U): Press (and hold) buttons simultaneously
- Arrow (e.g. L -> L): Input buttons consecutively

Disclaimer
Please note that this project is a work in progress. The downloadable file is only a working prototype of the game. Obviously, there are bugs, missing features and lacking assets. However, tips, hints, or feedback are very much appreciated! Thank you for trying out the game!
While researching I found out that someone had the same idea before, it's First Cut and honestly, it looks amazing, check it out. I was bummed out at first, it just ain't easy to have original ideas in this day and age. But hey, the road is the goal, and all.
