Hello everyone!
Coming back from a long hiatus with some updates I managed to squeeze in.
Release Notes
- Replace placeholder character sprites.
- Resize characters to better fit playdate screen.
- Modify movement speed for faster play style.
- Implement sound effects.
- Introduce stamina and staggering.
- Introduce windup time to states (attack, block, stance).
- Remove background image (too noisy).
- Add foreground effect (e.g. moving grass).
What now
Next up is adding more background/foreground effects, actual frame-times for attacks(windup, active & recovery frames), together with some simple animations to tie it all together.
