Keep your fury burning by slaughtering your enemies.
A small Pico-8 arcade game made for the GMTK Game Jam 2026.
Controls

Use the arrow keys ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ to move. Press ❎ (Keyboard X) when holding your axe, to unleash a chain of attacks in front of you. |
Press 🅾️ (Keyboard Z) to throw your axe in the direction you're looking or walking. You will have to pick your axe up again after throwing it. |

- You can reboot the game cartridge anytime by pressing Ctrtl+R.
- Press P on your keyboard to pause the game and open the Pico-8 menu.
Gameplay
Your fury level is displayed at the top bar. The progress of time and enemy attacks will eat away at your fury bar until your fury reaches zero and you die of exhaustion.
Kill enemies to fill up your fury!

Full Fury
Once your fury bar is completely filled, you will enter full fury mode, which will give you boni to speed and damage. Time will stop and your bar won't tick away, but you will still be vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Super cool i like the Arcade style and i think its fun :)
This is great! Though, i canrt seem to be able to throw the axe consistently ^^'. Maybe i misunderstood how to or something though
